This site can be reached by going to DarrenStanleyHayes.Com or BeHappyNotGay.Com they are two different URLs (web address) and point to the same site. The cartoons are the same only the logo and name at top is changed.

I had bought DarrenStanleyHayes. Darren Hayes is my favourite male singer and I was going to do a site about him but his own DarrenHayes.Com is so well done there is nothing really for me to do that hasn't been done by him already. So rather than let it go unused I pointed it at this site.

I long had the other name BeHappyNotGay as I got it to keep anti-gay people from using and rather than let it sit there unused I decided to point the URL at this website. It has no meaning in regards to this site, it was just an available name, so I used it.

So I had always read Family Circus and never thought it was that funny, someone said "Can you do better," well I don't know if I can or not, but I thought I'd try. So you decide, the cartoons are original art by Bill Keane and I made up my own captions. I will admit a few of them are "inside jokes" so if you don't understand a cartoon a quick Google (or Yahoo or MSN or Gigablast or Ask) search may help you.

And you just may learn about "Mrs Danvers," "Bea and Judy," "Martha Beck," "Mohamed Atta" or a host of other odd true and literary characters. For instance when Dolly says of her new friend Bobby Franks "He's just the kind of cocky little son of a bitch I'd kill." It's not just a weak attempt to make Dolly look murderous, that is a famous line from a famous criminal. So some are definitely inside jokes.

Currently I have finished the main section and am working on the contact sheet and the section for "high speed" users. But you can look over the main part till then. The high speed section will only be a javascript slide-show to view the cartoons faster.
